Yule Green Man Hand Made Sculpture

“Celebrate Yule” with this Green Man
sculpture which  is unique to Spirit of the Green Man.

This cheerful fellow who is associated with
mid winter with his ever green leaves of Holly & Ivy
and sprinkled with wonderful red berries.

Very attractive all year round but
certainly evocative of the Yule period!

Our ancestors started the tradition of
bringing foliage into their houses during the
dark winter time to bring a little cheer into their lives.
The idea has remained to this day and this is
my tribute to that practice.
Complete with wall hanging hook.

Size: 25cms high x 20cms wide.
