Jack in the Green

All across the land on Beltane, the first day of spring
“Jack in the Green” makes an appearance to ensure
the fertility of the land for the coming season.

Here is my Jack in the Green Sculpture dedicated
to this appearance of Jack.

Jack is hand made by Kathleen Minton using her special Marble Mixture.

This means that he is frost proof and suitable for outdoor use.

Size: 22cms diameter.

As you can see “Jack in the Green” is celebrated
in parts of Britain on Beltane or May 1st!
