This
majestic Uffington White Horse, which has stood since the Bronze Age, still inspires a
feeling of mysticism and connection with the ancient past of our
ancestors.
The horse goddess "Rhiannon" was worshipped by the Celts and may
have been cut into the sacred landscape to be seen by the goddess herself.
This is just one of the many beliefs of the origins of the white horse.
Here captured in acrylic in the ancient
setting of its past with standing stones and an ancient tree grove.
Size: 40cms high x 100cms
wide x 4cms deep.
